Volunteer PR publicist needed
Helping with this site’s program
Use your communication talents to help populate heaven by advancing Internet Evangelism! Are you a skilled PR veteran? Want a challenge that can help point millions to Christ? Consider this opportunity with Internet Evangelism Day. Web evangelism is touching people for Christ worldwide. But it’s a new concept. Churches and Christian leaders have not fully grasped its incredible potential. And, of course, evangelism itself is often a minority interest in Christianity. Ask any missions advocate! Lots of voices clamor for attention. Internet Evangelism Day needs a dedicated, talented professional who can help the Christian world embrace this important cause. IE Day is a volunteer effort, without full-time staff or a budget. So we could use a sparetime volunteer publicist. Our ‘dream’ person would:
- have wide experience of the PR world, primarily in N America
- have existing links and networks to Christian magazine and radio editors
- understand and articulate web evangelism’s strategic significance
- spend at least an hour a week building bridges, offering news items and articles, and approaching denominational leaders and key gatekeepers about IE Day
- perhaps be recently retired, or a parent taking a career break
