Free e-books on making effective Facebook fan pages

ebook cover
Internet marketing company Hubspot are offering a free 30-page PDF e-book explaining how to set up and use Facebook fan pages. Although this is in the context of marketing a company via Facebook, much of the information is very helpful to anyone starting or maintaining a fan page for non-profit, church, ministry or evangelism. Best introduction I’ve seen on the subject.

You can also watch/download a 58-minute video webinar (and PDF slides) and a second equally helpful e-book How to Use Facebook for Business, and the site contains other free resources and whitepapers including a guide to using Twitter. The webinar video could be the basis for a useful mission/church staff seminar and discussion, to gain a real understanding of how to use Facebook. It will be equally useful if you wish to create an evangelistic fan page. Please share your story with us via the ‘comment’ link below, if you are using Facebook to share the good news in any way.

To reach the download page, you first need to enter a few details about yourself and your ‘company’ – well, just enter the best equivalent details you have of your church, non-profit or ministry. All that’s going to happen is they add you to their email marketing list, which you can later opt out of if it is not helpful to you.

These resources are very helpful because they assume minimal experience of Facebook. Get them here.
