Electronic book readers – the future?
Electronic book devices such as Kindle are probably at the stage that sat-navs were several years ago – rather expensive, a few usability issues, and maybe only for early adopters. But they are surely destined to come down in price, and improve in usability. Jakob Neilsen reviews the Kindle 2 here and is impressed in many areas – he finds his reading speed equal to a paper book – but highlights issues which are not yet optimal. He also posts separately on content design for the Kindle.
You can also use the Kindle to send email.
As electronic readers gain in popularity we have the opportunity to offer free literature to users in Kindle format, which they can download wirelessly. Since the marginal cost of giving away free evangelistic literature to Kindle users is virtually zero, there is great potential here! Such material could include normal books, web-like presentations, magazines or bibles. Is anyone doing this already? Please use the ‘comment’ link below to share your ideas.

I decided to publish with Kindle about a year ago. My novel, The Ninth Generation: Conquering the Giants, is historic (preflood) fiction which uses Creation Evangelism and, hopefully, clarifies the meaning of the blood sacrifice initiated in the Garden. Perhaps the electronic book technology is a bit new, but I am not yet aware of a sale. Of course there are a lot of books listed. Mine is also published through Xulon Press. My best promotion seems to be through articles I write in Author’s Den (secular).
Here is some good news for electronic readers…………just grab it..
